Participants Dutch Open Solarboat Challenge 2011

The teams participating in the Dutch Open Solarboat Challenge are divided into four classes.

The ‘Standard class’ or S-Class is an entry class for secondary school teams in the region.
The A-Class is for vessels with one person on board equipped with five standard solar panels.
The B-Class is for vessels with two people on board and equipped with six standard solar panels.
In the Open (C) Class maximally eight square meters (8m2) of solar panels may be attached to the boats.
